What it is
A wooden shape-sorting board where four sets of stacking rings and blocks slide onto pegs, alongside loose wooden shapes that fit into matching cut-out holes on the base.
What your child learns
Matching each shape and colour before it will fit teaches your child to compare sizes and outlines rather than guess. Threading the rings onto the pegs and posting the loose shapes into their holes builds the same finger control used later for buttons and zips.
