What it is
A wooden base with four posts and chunky stacking shapes in red, yellow, green and blue: squares, triangles, circles and rectangles.
What your child learns
Each shape only fits its own post, so your child sorts by shape and colour before stacking. The steady pinch they use to thread each piece onto its post is the same grip that later holds a pencil.
